The difference between success and failure for players is the ability to convert the 79% of losing hands into potential winners and this involves using strategy.
If you follow the rules below you will convert a good number of losing hands to winners in Jacks Or Better video poker
Hold all paying hands. The exception is: Break up a lesser paying hand if you get four cards to a royal flush.
When you’re dealt non-paying hands, check below, and hold as per the list:
• Hold any four cards to a straight flush.
• Hold any three cards to a royal flush.
• Hold any four cards to a flush.
• Hold any low pair (tens or lower).
• Hold any four-card consecutive straight.
• Hold any two high cards of the same suit.
• Hold any three cards to a straight flush.
• Hold J, Q, and K of different suites.
• Hold any two high cards of different suits.
• Hold J, Q or K with a Ten of the same suit.
• Hold any single high card.
If you don’t receive any of the above dealt, draw five new cards.
Many novices feel this reduces their chances of success, but it doesn’t it increases them so if you have junk throw them away and get more new cards
Jacks Or Better is a fun easy to play game and if you play long enough, on the right machine with correct strategy, you will win big in Jacks Or Better video poker.

Printer Ink - Tips on Printing Digital Photos
Introduction
This article looks at the issues surrounding printing digital photos and other graphics using an ink printer. It is aimed at users who may not have a lot of technical expertise but who can, with a little help from articles like this, get the best from their equipment.
It is written in New Zealand, for NZers, and while the information may be useful in other countries, it is not intended for use outside New Zealand.
Benchmark your performance
When you buy a new ink printer print some photos using the complimentary paper supplied by the manufacturer. This gives you a benchmark of the performance of your printer and when you use different inks, paper or software you have the original standard of performance to compare against.
Maintain your printer
Look after your printer. Keep it clean and cover it when not in use. Use it regularly. The ink is the lubricant that helps maintain the print heads in good condition so regular use is beneficial. Have it professionally cleaned and serviced, at least annually, more often if you use it heavily. Following these few simple steps will prolong the life of your printer and enhance the quality of your prints.
Troubleshoot methodically
If you’re not happy with your printed page then troubleshoot the problem using the following method:-
1.Print a nozzle test to see that all nozzles are firing. You will find the nozzle test in the printer software under a heading such as “maintenance”, “service”, “utilities” etc.
2.If all nozzles are not firing then run the print head cleaning utility and print another nozzle test to see if cleaning has made a difference.
At this point if you are using Print Head Cartridges put new ink cartridges in the printer. If you are using Non Print Head Cartridges then carry on. If you are not sure about your ink cartridges see the article “Printer Ink - Choosing the right cartridges for your needs”.
3.Repeat the above two steps until you get a good nozzle test. If you don’t get a good test after repeating these two steps at least six times seek help from a qualified printer servicing company.
Warning - cleaning print heads uses ink so you may run low on ink before you get a good result. And a good result is not guaranteed - the print head may have failed.
4.Having either got a good nozzle test, or having changed your print head cartridges, and you are still not happy - what else has changed?
* Are you using the printer manufacturer’s software to print your photos? Other software, perhaps supplied free with photo paper or over the internet, may be easier to use but may not get the best out of the printer.
* Does your printer need servicing? Despite all the care you have taken printers do get dirty and ink or dust in the wrong place can have some surprising effects, particularly in photographs.
* Have you changed the paper you use? Some photo papers and some inks can be incompatible.
* Have you changed the ink you use? Some inks and papers can be incompatible and some inks can react chemically with other inks.
Provided you buy your printer ink and paper from a reputable company they should help you to work through these issues to your satisfaction. Our experience at Second Image is that these problems are generally solved before, or by, the printer servicing step.
Alternative ink and paper
If you are doing a lot of photo printing you will find that the cost of original ink and the paper can be quite high.
Alternatives are available and, provided you buy from a trustworthy source, will generally give you good results. If you have done the benchmark exercise suggested earlier you can now compare results.
See the associated article “Printer Ink- Choosing the right cartridges for your needs” for a guide to buying compatible ink cartridges, refilled ink cartridges and ink refill kits. There is nothing wrong with using these alternatives provided you first do your homework and deal with a reputable supplier.
Some papers are incompatible with some inks. This incompatibility can occur between the original manufacturers as well as between original and third party products. The best thing to do is to find a mix of ink and paper that gives you the results you are happy with and stick to that.
Such an approach may mean that you need to experiment with different papers and inks. Remember the golden rule - only change one thing at a time, ink or paper, never both while you are testing, and only use the software supplied by the manufacturer with the printer. When you are happy with your ink and paper combination you can play with different software.
If you follow these simple steps you should have a lot of fun and get great results.

Choosing the Right Antivirus Program to Protect Your Computer
In today’s high-tech world, there are thousands of computer viruses lurking, waiting to infect YOUR computer. If your computer is not protected, any of these malicious viruses can sneak into your computer and do some serious damage. Viruses have been known to replicate and clog email systems, slow a computer or network down significantly, erase data, and stop a computer from working all together.
If you don’t already have an antivirus program running on your computer, how would you know what programs are available in the market and which one is the best for you? A good place to start discovering this information is PCWorld.com, a leading computer information source on the internet. Specifically, visit their Top-10 antivirus comparison study at http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,124475,00.asp , where they list the 10 most popular and effective antivirus programs available to individual users. This list should help you a great deal.
From personal experience, my first choice would be McAfee VirusScan 2006 because it is easy to use, virus definition updates occur very often, meaning you get up-to-date protection, and the performance is solid. My second choice would be Symantec Norton Antivirus 2006, which is also solid. I’ve never had a problem with it. My third choice is Trend Micro PC-cillin. In my opinion, the free programs in the market provide some protection, but they do not provide adequate protection because they have basic virus scanning capabilities and their virus definition updates occur less often than their counterparts. No matter which one you ultimately choose to use, make sure you install an antivirus program on your computer. Some protection is also better than no protection at all!
The requirements for business network are different from the requirements for a personal computer at home. If you run a business that has a company network with multiple computers and need antivirus protection, consult a network security expert about choosing the right protection for your company. A business network that is infected by viruses can be disastrous. Make sure you have the right protection.

The Truth About Credit Card APR
I certainly can’t blame you if you express disbelief and outright doubt when you read the words “low APR credit card”. That’s like an oxymoron that’s never going to come true, isn’t it? When did a credit card ever have low APR? But I assure you, there is such a thing and though it’s as difficult to believe as when I tell you that aliens do exist, give this article a chance and read on.
For sure, you’ve seen, heard and read thousands of advertisements about low APR credit cards from the TV, radio, newspapers and the Internet but you simply tune them out because you think these credit card companies are just pulling your leg.
Well, I won’t lie and say that all credit card companies are straightforward. They’re not all honest. But there are still credit card companies who do mean what they say, even when it comes to low APR or annual percentage rates and to help you determine who’s being true and who’s being false, here are a few tips.
If you’re angling for a credit card with a zero percent (0%) APR intro rates, you must make sure that your credit ratings are excellent or at least more than good. If you don’t know your credit ratings, all you have to do is ask and pay for a copy of your credit report from any of the major credit bureaus in the country - Equifax, TransUnion or Experian.
If your FICO scores are above 650 then that’s good because you’re sure to qualify for a zero percent intro APR credit card. For individuals with FICO scores between 550 and 650, it’s touch and go so better check with a credit card representative first and explain to him if you need to submit more documents to help you qualify for a credit card with 0% APR intro rates.
Beware, however, if you have a FICO score below 550 and you still actually managed to find a credit card company who assures you that you’re qualified for a 0% APR intro rate credit card. Something’s definitely fishy going on.
If you find yourself in this kind of situation, I advise you to refuse that offer politely then simply go through the necessary steps to fix bad credit. When your credit reputation is sufficiently repaired, just re-apply for a 0% APR intro rate credit card and just maybe, your luck may have finally changed.

Hoodia Product Rankings
When you read hoodia product rankings online, buyer beware!
A lot of these so-called product rankings are just thinly veiled covers for hoodia gordoni sellers.
Every single one of these hoodia gordini sellers is going to naturally claim their product is the best on the market and they will do so under a shroud of “credibility” by posing as consumer advocates.
On the same level, many other websites tout hoodia product rankings, but these are often just ill-disguised attempts by affiliate marketers to push the product they happen to represent.
Not that there’s anything wrong with either selling hoodia gordoni or being an affiliate for a hoodia product.
But at the very least, reasons should be given at such websites why one product is chosen over another.
In such cases, consumers can then be left to make their own informed decision if they agree with the opinions stated or not.
Another deplorable practice is those hoodia gordoni sellers who try to claim their products are more effective for weight loss than others on the market.
The fact of the matter is that only Phytopharm pharmaceuticals can even claim their hoodia extract is proven for weight loss because they are the only company who has undergone clinical studies in this regard.
For example, you’ll often see hoodia product rankings by sellers of hoodia gels or liquids or patches claiming their products are superior to tablets or capsules for weight loss.
They will give all sorts of theoretical reasons, but don’t present a real shred of proof….simply because they have none.
These kinds of claims are probably even illegal.
Another scam to be aware of from hoodia sellers is those who claim their products contain pure or 100% hoodia. These claims can be very deceptive because there are over a dozen types of hoodia plant, but only the hoodia gordoni species contains the appetite reducing active ingredient.
Such companies can stay within the confines of the law by not technically lying, but there’s little doubt their claims are morally reprehensible.
Hoodia gordoni is a fascinating plant to be sure, and it may be one of the most legitimate weight loss agents to come around in a long time, but such positive news always comes with its share of pitfalls.
The safest bet for would be consumers of hoodia is to wait for Phytopharm and Unilever to release their line of products in a couple of years — or buy only products that come from hoodia c.i.t.e.s. certificate sellers.

Clients…Do You Really Need Them?
Running a successful business takes a lot of energy and there are so many areas that as a business owner you need to pay attention too.
It’s not enough to spend heaps of time, money and resources into getting buyers for your goods and services and then leaving those clients/customers to their own devices.
If you want to work less, have more time and make more money one very important aspect you have to take care of on an ongoing basis is nurturing those people who are prepared to spend their money with you.
You cannot afford to take their money, sell the goods or perform the services and then hope they will call you when they need too.
The Hairdresser
A couple of weeks ago I visited my hairdresser for my regular appointment. Now I have been loyally going to this hairdresser for at least 2 years, approximately every six weeks.
On this particular occasion there were a couple of clients having their hair coloured and the owner and another assistant were fawning over three kittens which had kindly been supplied by the local vet.
Apparently the vet was looking for a good home for the kittens and John, the owner and another staff member were going to take them home. The kittens were staying the afternoon at the salon for the benefit of their new owners (my hairdresser and his assistant).
So here we were in an upmarket salon, with three kittens running around and the staff paying more attention to them than the clients.
The second incident that occurred happened after I had my hair washed. I was left sitting in a chair waiting whilst John who is my hairdresser casually took his time looking at another client’s holiday photos. That wasted at least 5 minutes. (Some people may not be bothered about having their time wasted, but unfortunately for John, I wasn’t one of them).
When he finally comes over, instead of asking me how am I going, or commenting about the condition of my hair, he proceeds to tell me all the details about his life (as he usually does) and is so focussed on himself he was oblivious to the fact that without people like me (a paying client), he wouldn’t be in business.
It doesn’t end there. The final straw came when his mobile phone rang in the middle of my haircut. With no apology or saying to me “excuse me, I must take this call “, he answers the phone and wanders off for another 5 minutes.
By this time I was ready to explode. Instead, being the cool, calm and collected person that I am (sometimes), I took some deep breaths and vowed I would never go there again.
How Much Money Do You Lose?
As a regular client who had an average spend of $110 every six weeks (that’s for a colour and cut), I would be worth around $900 a year plus any product I would buy.
And that’s another thing, John often complained about not having enough income, yet he never trained his staff how to sell additional products. People (particularly women) would readily purchase shampoos, conditioners, gels etc. if his staff would proactively recommend it.
They only sold product by default, when a client mentioned they had run out or asked questions. I was one of those clients who asked questions about the various products and was ready to buy, except they were always out of stock! (See how being disorganised affects your income!)
Focus on What Counts
Being a great hairdresser, accountant, coach or anything else for that matter doesn’t automatically mean your clients will continue to invest their money with you.
You have to pay attention to them by being proactive in looking after them and not reactive when they complain.
In fact most people will not tell you if they are unhappy with your goods or services, they will just take their business elsewhere. They’ll also spread the word by telling other people about their experiences with you thereby damaging your reputation and potential for future clients.
The Final Word
Look at how your business is run. Survey your clients and find out how they really find your goods/services, customer care, follow up service etc. After all, wouldn’t they know how good you really are? You and your team may think you’re great but it’s what your clients think (and pay for) that counts.
It would also be worthwhile investing in a great book by Keith Abraham entitled “Creating Loyal Profitable Customers’ - 47 ways to turn your customers into passionate purchasers (available from our office for only $24.95 plus $5 postage).
So don’t delay. Get yourself organised so that you have time to focus on what really counts.

Take Control of Your Taxes
As everyone in the U.S. knows, we have just passed one of our most “favorite” times of the year: income tax season. If you are going to create and sustain wealth, it is inevitable that you will have to address your personal tax situation.
By “address,” what I really mean is take control. This is true whether you live in the U.S. or just about any other country. Agree or disagree with the “fairness” of taxes, this is a subject that you must obtain some basic understanding if you want to significantly increase your wealth.
Before I start, let me say that I am certainly not a tax expert. And space does not permit going into detailed tax strategy. The purpose of this article is to explain why it is so important for you to take up the study of basic tax law and strategies, and even more important seek out the advice of a true tax expert.
Why is it important to understand taxes?
In most cases, taxes are your largest expense. This is probably the key reason that wealthy people spend so much time, effort, and money doing their best to minimize their tax expense. Depending on your tax bracket, your federal taxes may be as high as 28%-35% of your income! And then there are social security, state income taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, etc., etc. If you are generating all of your income from your wages (earned income), you may be lucky to actually keep 50% of what you really earn.
That is a staggering figure when you think about it. That means that if you have a salary of $50,000, you may be only keeping $25,000 of your earnings for your own purposes.
If you think I am exaggerating, pull out your last paycheck and look at the tax withholdings for taxes that have been taken off the top of your earnings. If you take your net earnings and divide them by the gross earnings, what is that percentage? Don’t be shocked if it isn’t about 40%. Then take a look at your sales taxes. In California, the sale tax is around 8.25%. So just doing a quick estimate, I’m already at about 48% in tax expense (assuming most of the money is spent on taxable items).
The cost of ignoring your tax expense and not doing everything legally possible to minimize it is huge. Of course, tax law can be exceedingly complex, and the penalties of making a mistake are high. So a large number of people, simply accept this large tax expense as inevitable. They concede defeat without really even trying to take any type of action to minimize the impact.
What are some actions that you can take?
1) Recognize that you can take action to reduce your tax expense. Too many people blindly assume that it is impossible to significantly reduce their tax expense. Either they think it is too complicated, too much trouble, or they are afraid that if they take deductions that are legitimate, that the government will come after them. If you assume there is nothing you can do (learned helplessness), you are right. If you assume you can improve your tax position, you’re right. The fact is that while you must pay your legal share of taxes, the government actually wants you to take advantage of tax deductions and credits. That’s why the laws were passed to allow for them.
2) Make a commitment to study basic tax law so that you have at least enough knowledge to speak with a tax advisor with a certain degree of intelligence. You can’t take deductions that you are not aware of. Because of the potential savings, the study of tax law needs to be a fundamental part of your financial literacy education. Your two highest priorities must be to create wealth in the most efficient manner and protect it. And any protection strategy must include protecting it from over taxation. Don’t just limit your study to books. Also seek out college classes, night-school, and seminars. But be careful of seminars as they can be a lot more expensive and not as thorough as a class from a community college.
3) Seek out a CPA and/or Certified Financial Planner to come up with a long range plan to minimize your taxes and increase your wealth. Start with the most experienced person you can afford and plan to pay for even more expert advice as your wealth increases. Ultimately, it will probably be less expensive to pay for outstanding advice than to over pay on your taxes. If you wait until tax time to come up with your plan, you have waited too long.
4) If you haven’t already, start keeping detailed financial records. This is a good habit to get into even if you don’t yet have a business. If you keep detailed records (using a computer program!) as you go through the year, it makes it much easier to turn over your records to your tax preparer when tax time comes.
5) When you record your income from your paycheck, be certain to record all deductions taken from your check. Don’t just record the net. If you actively track your tax expenses deducted from the top of your wages, you will be more motivated to do everything possible to legitimately reduce that expense. If you simply record the net wages, you have probably fallen prey to the tax trap without a fight.
6) If you are an employee, make certain you are taking full advantage of your 401k and medical flex spending plan if available. Money set aside for your 401k (usually matched by your employer) helps reduce your taxable income. You have to pay taxes eventually, but hopefully by the time that happens you will be in a lower tax bracket. Medical flex spending plans help you pay for medical costs (including over-the-counter medicines, dental work, glasses, etc.) using pre-tax dollars. Flex spending plans are also available for child day care.
7) As soon as possible, replace your income from wages with income from your own business and unearned income from investments. Of course, this is easier said than done, but the benefits are huge. If your income comes from a business that you own, it’s much easier to pay for expenses with pre-tax dollars. Obviously, you have to have a real business (not just a hobby) and the expenses must be legitimate business expenses, but this allows you to have a lot more flexibility in your tax planning. Realize that you can (I would say must) still start a business even if you have a full-time job. If you want to create great wealth (and minimize your tax expense), don’t let fear, unbelief, or lack of knowledge prevent you from starting your own business. You must take action to overcome those obstacles.
Eventually, you need to target making the ultimate shift to getting your income from unearned income rather than wages. Unearned income is taxed at a lower rate than earned income. That’s one of the ironies of our tax law: the more income that is “unearned” the lower your tax expense.

Good Christmas Party Activities
The holidays are the perfect time of year to host a kid-friendly gathering. Christmas party activities can range from games to crafts; but the key is to keep things light and accessible to all ages. Read on for some great Christmas party activities you can include in your next children’s holiday event.
Gingerbread Man Book Exchange
This is a great Christmas Party activity for children because not only does it keep them entertained, but each child leaves with a gift. Buy enough inexpensive children’s books for each of the children invited and gift wrap each one. Give each child a wrapped book and ask them to hold them in their laps while an adult reads the story of The Gingerbread Man. Every time the word “run” is spoken (Run, run as fast as you can; you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man!), the children turn to their right and pass their book to the next person, accepting a new book from the child on their left. At the end of the story, the children open and keep the book they’re left with.
Santa’s Sleigh
Easy games are great as Christmas party activities. Santa’s Sleigh requires all of the children to sit in a circle, with one child blindfolded. Another child is given a toy sleigh, and he or she recites this poem: Santa, Santa, where is your sleigh? Someone has come to take it away. Guess who, guess who? The blindfolded child gets three guesses; the child with the sleigh is the next to be blindfolded.
Christmas Word Find
Word finds are more appropriate for slightly older children. The point of this Christmas party activity is to find as many words-within-words as possible before the timer runs out. Give each child a list of Christmas-related words like sleigh, present, or candy and ask them to write down smaller words that can be made from the same letters. For example, the word Christmas can be turned into sit, is, his, miss, rat, tar, this, and math.
Christmas Crafts - Make a Holiday Ornament!
Our list of Christmas party activities would not be complete without a craft. Let the children create their own beautiful Christmas ornaments using last year’s holiday cards, lids from frozen juice containers, construction paper, scissors, ribbon and glue. The children can cut pictures out of the holiday cards and attach them to a circle of construction paper that has been traced from the juice can. An adult can then use a glue gun to attach the construction paper to the juice lid, and a paper clip to the back of the whole ornament. Slip a ribbon through the paper clip and hang their ornaments on the tree!

Selecting the Right Kitchen Sink
The sink is the busiest spot in your kitchen. Nearly every task begins or ends in its embrace, so choosing the right one for the way you will use it and the way it will look may be one of the most important decisions you will make when planning your kitchen. You may not feel you really need the new one that ‘cooks’, but you do want a sink that will serve you well and look terrific, while not requiring too much time to maintain.
The newest looks in sinks are those that compliment the latest trends in kitchen design; namely the ‘commercial’ or ‘professional’ look and the traditional Old World styling, two design trends that continue to run parallel to one another, closely followed by the nostalgia of ‘country’ .
After you choose the look you want to enhance your kitchen’s personality, there is still plenty to decide. Will you use stainless steel, porcelain, enamel or solid surface material? How about copper or brass? For more on sinks, go to Estimating Costs.
Stainless Steel - More popular than ever, the stainless steel sink is the perfect compliment to the ‘professional’ kitchen that boasts stainless steel appliances. Easy care is a big plus. The quality of a stainless steel sink is measured by its gauge (the higher the number, the lower the quality), the amount of chromium and nickel it contains (the more, the better) and the sound control employed ( the more padding or coating the quieter. Tile and solid surface counters allow undermount installation for easy clean up - just push the wet and the mess right in with no lip or edge to collect debris or dampness. Laser embossing is available from some manufacturers to relieve the ‘too commercial’ look for use in more traditional settings, too.
Solid Surface - First used for easier care custom counter tops, sinks of solid surface materials have attained a close second in preference among consumers for upscale kitchens. These wonderful man-made composite materials present a quiet, easy to clean surface that is stain and scratch resistant. Solid surface sinks also allow for either surface or undermount applications and can be fabricated to create a completely smooth transition from a solid surface top with no discernable ridge or line where they are joined. Computerized cutting allows fabricators to create custom designs for both decorative and functional choices.
Porcelain - Still the number one choice for many consumers, there is nothing to compare with the gleaming surface of a quality porcelain sink. Surprisingly durable, porcelain on cast iron sinks are available in bolder colors and more shades than any other material. Available in either undermount or surface mount styles, porcelain sinks are available in every imaginable style and with a wide variety of functional options and features.
Enamel - A less expensive alternative than others, except the most inexpensive stainless steel, enamel sinks are also less durable. Available in several colors and configurations enamel sinks do require more careful maintenance. But, top mounted models may be changed out with relatively little trouble, so enamel sink may be a better way to cut costs than with some more permanent choices for your kitchen like the cabinets. A good quality enamel sink may be expected to last for several years with a little loving care. Be sure not to scour with abrasive cleaners.
Other materials seen on today’s sink scene are Soapstone - a natural mineral substance, it is easy to care for, available in several color ranges (no two are alike) and in some of the most ‘now’ styles like extra deep farm sinks with wide apron fronts.
Copper or Brass - usually familiar as bar or ‘veggie’ sinks, these metals are sometimes chosen for kitchens planned in the Old World mode or for a ‘gourmet’ appearance.

Comparitive Study Of Types Of Wireless Networks
This article discuses about the various types of wireless networks and the speed, distance of each type of the wireless networks.
1.NARROWBAND WIRELESS LANS:
Narrowband Wireless LANS keep the radio signal frequency narrower and an ability to pass the information along the narrower range. Though the distance through these LANS are reasonable but still speeds available aren’t adequate enough fot the corporate users. The major problem that would ocur is interference. But it can be overcome by allowing individual user onto inividual frequencies.
2.PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES:
PCS comprises of a entire range of mobiles, portable and auxilary communication services for both business and personal usage. There are 2 types of PCS as explained below
a. NARROWBAND PCS: The size of the spectrum is smaller than broadband PCS. Narrowband PCS applications include paging, text mesaging, wireless email, wireless telemetry.
b. BROADBAND PCS: This type of PCS has larger spectrum compared to narrowband PCS. Broadband PCS application include all Mobile Telephone services and Mobile Data Services. All these Mobile set of services are available to the users via small. portable, multifunctional devices like digital camera, cellphones etc.
3. SATELLITE: Using satellite networks, the speed would be higher ranging around 1-2 Mbps for upload and download correspondingly. The great advantage of satellite networks are for their huge coverage area, The major drawback of these networks is the delay that exists while connecting. So these networks are found to be nearly dumb when dealt with the bursty traffic.
4. INFRARED WIRELESS LANS: Infrared wireless LANS though have a shorter available range, their speed range are increasing from 115Kbps to 4Mbps. In the near future, usage of Very Fast InfraRed (VFIR) may increase the speed upto 16Mbps. These type of LANS are used in Laptop to PDA transfers and between laptops.
5. SPREAD SPECTRUM WIRELESS LANS: These LANS are a wideband radio frequency technique using LANS. These LANS are both reliable and secure. The most popular WLAN used is 802.11b that runs upto 11Mbps, but the 802.11g specification can boost it upto around 22Mbps.The 802.11a with 5Ghz range can run a bandwidth around 50Mbps which can increase to 100Mbps in the near future. But the distance is less thanwhat we get with 802.11b & 802.11g 2.4Ghz range, (i.e) around 300 feet or so. Usually considering these factors 802.11a is used in a shorter distance outdoor regions while 802.11b/g are used indoors.
